AFR 195 GM LT1/LT4 Eliminator Street Head - (65cc)

The Ultimate Bolt-on Emissions Legal Street Weapon

These LT4 "Eliminator Series" small block Chevy cylinder heads are fully CNC ported and feature an LT4 angle spark plug location. The AFR 195 cylinder heads feature fully profiled 65cc combustion chamber volume with high flow 195cc intake runners and efficient 64cc exhaust ports. The typical AFR spec 3/4" thick head deck is ideal for nitrous or forced induction applications. These LT1/LT4 heads are designed for the Gen II reversed-cooled engines from 1992-1997 and are machined to accept both center bolt and perimeter bolt valve covers.

Standard valves are a lightweight 2.050" intake and 1.600" exhaust diameter with 8mm stems and AFR's hardened ductile iron interlocking valve seats for long life. The exceptional flow characteristics, ideal operating range of 2500 RPM to 6000 RPM are major features over similar products. Higher rpm ranges possible depending on combination of peripherals. As with any cylinder head package we offer, there are many custom pieces available. The standard 23 degree valve angle and factory valve spacing make this the perfect street/track head for 350 to 383 cubic inch engines. Designed specifically for 1996 Corvettes or LT4 manifold users. No special parts are required. Dual valve cover bolt pattern is standard. Exhaust port is raised .10" over factory GM L98 head. Emission legal for engines up to 1994 (CARB EO #D-250-2). Designed for use with Generation II LT4 intake manifolds only. Not compatible with self-aligning rocker arms.

NOTE: Hydraulic roller cams typically experience valve float at 6200-6400 RPM because of their fast ramp rates. We suggest you upgrade your springs to one of our optional PAC Racing high RPM series and even consider using AFR's patented “Hydra Rev Kit” to reduce chances of valve float associated with high RPM combinations. We will work with you to make sure your valvetrain matches the camshaft profile.
