Medium Runner, High Velocity "Non-Emissions" Cylinder Head
AirFlow Research's mid-range 195cc Renegade Ford cylinder head adds more depth to their already strong lineup. This medium runner cylinder head almost defies the law of physics flowing a whopping 315 CFM from a modest sized intake port. The 195 Ford head comfortably outflows its 10cc larger predecessor and is on the heels of our previous best small block Ford inline valve head. These heads do not have EGR or AIR ports so they are not legal for emissions requirements.
The AFR 195 series heads utilize 2.050" diameter intake valves and 1.600" exhaust valves with lightweight 8mm stems. Standard combustion chamber volume is 72cc. Milling the decks for smaller than standard chamber volumes optional and at an additional charge. Exhaust port and header bolt pattern are raised .125" higher than stock for better flow, though this rarely affects header or chassis fitment. Dual bolt pattern header fastening standard so you can use a more race oriented header without adapters. The usual .750" nominal deck thickness makes these 195 heads ideal for high compression, nitrous or blower applications. Stud mounted rocker arms with 7/16" poly-locks are required. Will not accept OEM style pedestal mounted rocker arms.

These AFR Renegade 195cc Ford cylinder heads are designed for predominately for 331-392 cubic inch engines operating from 2000 RPM to 7000 RPM. Range will vary depending on application and peripherals used.
