AFR 195cc SB Chevy "Competition" Cylinder Heads - (75cc)

These AFR small block Chevrolet "Eliminator Competition" heads are fully CNC machined, 195cc high flow intake runners, efficient 64cc exhaust ports and 75cc combustion chambers. Trademark 3/4" thick head deck surface which is ideal for nitrous or blower applications. Standard valves are lightweight 2.080" intake and 1.600" exhaust diameter valves with 8mm valve stems. Hardened ductile iron interlocking valve seats for strength and longevity. These castings are set up with angle plug configuration.

The exceptional flow characteristics of the AFR 195cc Eliminator Competition heads, a 23 degree valve angle and standard valve spacing make them the perfect street heads for 350 to 400 cubic inch engines in the 2,500 to 6,500+ RPM operating range

NOTE: Hydraulic roller cams typically experience valve float at 6200-6400 RPM because of their fast ramp rates. We suggest you upgrade your springs to one of our optional PAC Racing 1200 series valvetrain kits to reduce chances of valve float associated with high RPM combinations. We will work with you to make sure your valvetrain matches the camshaft profile.
