FTI Custom GEN 3 HEMI VVT Hydraulic Roller Camshaft

Our custom designed GEN3 HEMI hydraulic roller camshaft profiles are developed per each customer's specific application. No repackaged of "off the shelf", catalog camshafts or reground OEM cores as our competition does. Every single facet of your particular build is taken into consideration when your late model HEMI camshaft is designed. Street, track, endurance or even off road, we have you covered.

These custom FTI profiles are manufactured on Comp Cams phaser camshaft cores which utilize Variable Valve Timing (VVT) technology to maximize power and performance in street/track applications. The new Hemi engines from Chrysler are great power plants straight from the factory, with technology that allows the camshafts to move in real time. Instead of scrapping this advanced system, FTI and Comp Cams has embraced it with a new line of aftermarket Hemi specific custom camshafts.

The patent pending Hemi phaser camshafts work with either phaser limiters or locks to fully utilize Chrysler's VVT technology, which allows them to pick up torque in the low end of the engine, while maintaining power in the upper PRM range.

Manufactured from a billet steel core, these FTI custom hydraulic roller camshafts are engineered tough enough to handle late model Hemi street/track engines. The unique design maintains piston to valve clearance, while enabling high performance lobes utilizing VVT, making them perfect for late model Challengers, Chargers, Chrysler 300s, Jeeps, RAM trucks and Mopar crate engines with VVT.

These FlowTech/Comp Cams Hemi phaser camshafts are available in many custom configurations dependent upon engine type, for improved performance over OEM options. These grinds will require the Comp Cams phaser limiter or lock kits to limit the degree of maximum cam phasing to 14 crank degrees (7 cam degrees) and these kits are available separately.

Completion of the CAM TECH form required

The full competition race grinds will not work with OEM factory speed density computers without modifications and tuning. Most dual purpose grinds require long tube headers coupled with free flowing mufflers & exhaust system.

StreetBeast cams feature excellent torque & HP gains in low & mid RPM ranges.

StreetSweeper grinds are more aggressive and designed for serious horsepower.

Supercharged, turbocharged and nitrous specific profiles are also available.
