FTI 1087-HR-V2 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft - (SB Ford Windsor)

Due to the huge demand for this classic camshaft, we've managed to duplicate the famous "1087" profile but at a very reasonable price! Though sold under many names and variations, the original "1087" camshaft is back and improved.

This latest version of the "1087-V2" camshaft will work with factory computers with minor modifications and tuning. Ground on the well proven, high quality austempered iron cores and will require a coated steel or OEM style steel distributor gear. Early distributors with cast iron gears will need these replaced with coated steel gears.

Works best with aftermarket intake manifolds, performance cylinder heads, long tube headers coupled with free flowing mufflers and exhaust system. Excellent torque and HP gains in the mid-range with a strong, usable broad power band. This camshaft grind has a proven record of success in many old school 5.0L Mustang combinations.
