Every facet of your project is taken into consideration when developing the camshaft profile whether it's street, track, endurance or off road.

The more serious race grinds will not work with factory computers without modifications and professional tuning. Most dual purpose grinds require long tube headers and free flowing mufflers & exhaust system. The street/track profiles provide excellent torque and HP gains throughout the entire RPM ranges. Racing grinds are geared for more high RPM horsepower and will be less streetable.

I've ordered several custom cams through FTI over the last few years and they have never failed or disappointed. The cams do exactly what I ordered them for, whether it was for a personal vehicle, or a customer's. FTI off the shelf cams are no slouch at all either.

I contacted Ed because I was unhappy with my current 230/239 cam. I was only running 12.45 @ 118.5 in my c5, which was poor for a H/C car. Despite having exhaust manifolds, I still felt this was slow.
He specced me a much smaller (duration wise) cam with a tighter LSA and I picked up .2 and 1.5 mph, which equated to a 12.2 @ 120 with a crappy 2.1 60'. Once I dial in the launch, it should easily be in the mid-high 11.s.
The car is a weird setup as it has ls3 as cast small bores and ls7 exhaust manifolds on a lower compression forged 347. Ed got it right the first try.
Definitely will be ordering cams from here from now on. It may cost slightly more than other vendors, but you will end up spending more in the long run if you have to pull the wrong cam back out. I ended up costing myself $400 extra in the end because I failed on the first two cams from other vendors. Never again will I do that. He will be my go to for all my builds from now on.

Professor of Camology PH C is what you are sir. You matched this cam perfect to my set up. On a dyno dynamic "Heart Break" dyno she put down 522/481 in heat with my LS3 416. I can break her lose at 70mph if I want. I have 400rwtq at 2800rpm and stays above 400rwtq to 6750, and I get 22mpg on the hwy. This is my second cam from you 1st with this build, and it just gets better. I will not let my friends get a cam from anyone else. You the man Dr E

Thanks for a monster camshaft. Over 100 to the tire over the original camshaft. Perfect match to the car.
