FTI GEN6C PAC Racing Dual Valve Spring Kit (Steel Retainers)

Hardcore racers and top engine builders of cylinder heads with forced induction and high RPM powerplants, now have a brand new, extreme usage valve spring, spring retainer, valve lock and valve stem seal kit that extends engine RPM and boosts valvetrain performance capability. This severe duty valve spring package works best with "limited travel" hydraulic roller lifters. Some applications using tight lash solid roller lifters can also use this spring assembly.

This custom built PAC Racing 1209X based kit features precision wound, heat-set, LSx style dual valve springs for required seat and open load pressure plus total spring travel to accommodate cams with aggressive camshaft lobes with gross valve lifts of up to .750”. Not recommended for daily street usage.

The valve springs in each kit are carefully tension matched and all supplied components come complete and ready to install. Included are CNC machined, chromemoly alloy valve spring retainers, CAD designed to deliver maximum strength and durability. Precision fit spring locators are included and are designed to accurately locate the inner spring, preventing abrasion with aluminum heads. Precision machined and hardened 4140 steel alloy 7-degree valve locks are also provided for superior valve stem holding reliability. Premium quality, Viton® steel reinforced valve stem seals are included for correct valve stem lubrication and oil control.

The PAC Racing 1209X is a severe duty valve spring designed for lightweight LSx style valvetrain used in a high RPM or forced induction engine combinations. Perfect for turbocharged and high RPM supercharged engines. Will fit most aftermarket cylinder heads with small 1.300" diameter dual spring packages. PAC Racing proprietary alloy round wire construction.


1) Choose your valve stem diameter: 11/32" or 8mm

2) Choose your valve seal diameter: .500" or .531" guide top

3) Choose your valve guide diameter: .500" or .563" guide base

The standard spring kit contains lightweight chromemoly retainers but you can upgrade to the optional titanium or tool steel retainers. Certain aftermarket cylinder heads may require a custom built version of this kit. Email for more information on custom cylinder head applications.
