FTI Bronze Alloy Distributor Gear - (SB Ford)
These Ampco 45 bronze are 100% USA manufactured and are the ultimate in wear resistant distributor gears. These gears are held to tight factory tolerances in order to insure proper engagement with camshaft gears. Ampco 45 material can be used with cast iron, austemper steel, billet steel and tool steel camshaft cores. Oversized distributor gears allow for correct gear meshing by insuring proper depth.
It is highly recommended to use a small drilled hole in the front lifter gallery plug to spray oil on the gears.
