Lunati Dual Valve Spring Kit - Small Block Ford (Steel Retainers)

Performance enthusiasts, racers and engine builders of small block Ford engines with aftermarket cylinder heads, now have a brand new, extreme usage "drop-in" dual valve spring kit featuring chromemoly retainers, hardened valve locks and Viton valve stem seals that safely extends engine RPM range and performance capability.

This custom built Lunati "LSx based" spring kit features precision wound, micro-polished, heat-set, small diameter dual valve springs for the proper seat and open load pressures plus enough spring travel to accommodate camshaft profiles with aggressive gross valve lifts of up to .660” when set at 1.810" installed height. The valve springs included in each kit are carefully tension matched and all supplied components come complete and ready to install.

Included are CNC machined, lightweight chromemoly steel spring retainers which have been computer developed to deliver maximum strength and durability. Precision fit hardened and machined valve spring locators are included which are designed to accurately locate the inner spring, preventing abrasion with aluminum heads. Hardened and machined steel alloy seven degree valve locks are also provided for superior valve stem holding reliability. Premium quality, Viton® steel reinforced valve stem seals are included for correct valve stem lubrication and oil control.

Applications include: Small block and certain big Ford engines using Edelbrock Performer, Performer RPM, E-Street, Victor Jr, Brodix ST5.0, Dart Machinery, early AFR Outlaw 165/185 and many other cylinder heads utilizing 11/32" diameter valve stems. Developed for endurance, circle track, off road, road racing, marine and serious street performance applications.

NOTE: Works with most aftermarket heads with .343" (11/32") diameter stem valves and .531" diameter knurled manganese guides with a .562" boss at the base.

You must specify which cylinder head and camshaft you are using to verify the kit components to be used.
