FTI GT40 "KR" Series Custom Hydraulic Roller Camshaft Kit (KR-B)

If you're racing with a set of GT40 cylinder heads, FlowTech Induction has developed this "GT40-KR-B" small block Ford custom hydraulic roller camshaft kit and the matching valvetrain components for your project. Developed and designed specifically for the popular GT40 and GT40P cast iron cylinder head combinations when pushing the limits of these factory pieces. When combined with an aftermarket intake manifold and the driveline mods, this package will net some serious power increases in the mid to upper RPM range.

This "GT40-KR-B" custom camshaft kit requires aftermarket long tube headers with free flowing mufflers and exhaust system. Rear gearing should be 3.73 or steeper and manual transmission or high stall speed torque converter is required. These are dual purpose, street/track grinds and will not work with factory computers without modifications and/or professional tuning. Now ground on billet steel cores! 

All our custom hydraulic roller billet steel camshafts require a coated steel, composite or OEM steel distributor gear. Also recommended is a our FTI-CR2 modified camshaft retainer plate.

  • One-piece, Hardened Push Rods - 6.350" long (*)
  • ARP/FTI Camshaft Bolt & Washer Kit

NOTES:

  • Rocker arm geometry, lifter preload & push rod length (*) must be verified before starting the engine.
  • Lifter preload is very important for maximum performance and must be checked & verified.
  • All hydraulic roller camshafts are ground on the late model 302HO/351W firing order. (1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8)
