LS Dual Valve Spring Kit - (TFS Twisted Wedge Heads)
All top Ford racers and engine builders of small block Ford engines now have a proven, extreme usage valve spring, spring retainer, valve lock and valve stem seal kit designed for the potent TFS Twisted Wedge 170 FAC cylinder heads, that safely extends engine RPM potential and boosts performance capability. This custom built Lunati based kit feature precision wound, heat-set, dual valve springs for required seat and open load pressure plus total spring travel to accommodate cams with aggressive gross valve lifts of up to .660”.
The Lunati spec "LS style" dual valve springs in each kit are carefully tension matched and all supplied components come complete and ready to install. Included are light weight, CNC machined, chromemoly steel alloy spring retainers which are CAD designed to deliver maximum strength and durability. Fully machined, precision fit spring locators are included and are specifically designed for Twisted Wedge heads to accurately locate the inner spring to the valve guides, preventing excessive movement and abrasion with aluminum heads. CNC machined and hardened 4140 steel alloy 7-degree valve locks are also provided for superior valve stem holding reliability. Premium quality, Viton steel reinforced valve stem seals are included for correct valve stem lubrication and oil control.
Application: Developed for TrickFlow Specialties Twisted Wedge 170 & 190 FAC cylinder heads with 11/32" valve stems only.
